This Privacy Policy explains what information The Lifestyle Architect, LLC. (“we,” “us”) collects when you visit goaldapp.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Information You Give Us

When you join our email list, buy something, create an account, fill out a form or contact us, we collect what you provide. That usually means your name and email address, and sometimes your phone number, mailing address or anything you choose to write to us.

Payments are handled by our payment processors (for example Stripe or PayPal). We do not see or store your full card number.

Information Collected Automatically

Like almost every website, ours automatically collects some information when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how long you stay, the site that sent you here, and the date and time of your visit.

We collect this using cookies, pixels and similar tools. These may include analytics tools such as Google Analytics and advertising tools such as the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which let us measure our ads and show our ads to people who have visited our site. Our Cookie Policy explains these tools and how to control them.

The GOALD App

When you use the GOALD app, whether at app.goaldapp.com, on your home screen, or from Google Play, we store what you put into it so it works on every device you sign in on:

Your account: your name, your email address, and how you sign in (Google, Microsoft, Facebook or email).
Your profile photo, if you add one.
What you create: habits, check-offs, tracked items, routines, timer runs, notes, journal entries, checklists and challenge progress.
Mood check-ins, if you turn them on.
Your plan: whether you are on Free or Builder, and until when.
A device token, if you turn on reminders, so we can send them to your phone.

The app has no ads, and no advertising or analytics trackers. Your app data is stored with Google Firebase, which hosts it for us as our service provider. It is encrypted on its way between your device and our servers.

We never sell your app data or share it with advertisers. The only people who see it are you and the people you choose to share with: an accountability partner sees only the habits you pick, and a shared checklist is seen by the people you share it with.

You can download a copy of your data any time in the app’s Settings, under Your data. You can delete your account and everything in it from the app (tap your letter at the top right, then Profile, then Delete my account) or from our Account Deletion page at goaldapp.com/delete-account/.

How We Use Your Information

To deliver what you asked for, such as a download, a course, an account or a product.
To process payments and send receipts.
To send you emails you signed up for. You can unsubscribe from any of them at any time.
To answer your questions and provide support.
To understand how our site is used and to improve it.
To measure and improve our advertising.
To protect our site, prevent fraud and meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only with:

Service providers who help us run the business, such as our website host, email platform, payment processors and analytics providers. They may use your information only to provide their services to us.
Advertising partners such as Meta and Google, through the cookies and pixels described above. Some state laws treat this as “sharing” your information for advertising, and you can opt out. See Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.
Authorities or other parties when the law requires it, or when we need to protect our rights or someone’s safety.
A buyer or successor if our business is sold or merged.

Your Choices and Rights

You can unsubscribe from our emails using the link at the bottom of any email. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Depending on where you live, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas and other states with consumer privacy laws, and the European Union and United Kingdom, you may have the right to:

Know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it.
Correct information that is wrong.
Have your information deleted.
Opt out of the sale or sharing of your information and of targeted advertising.

To make any of these requests, email us at support@goaldapp.com. We may need to confirm your identity first. We will not treat you differently for using any of these rights.

How Long We Keep It

We keep your information for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires, for example for tax and accounting records. Then we delete it or make it anonymous.

How We Protect It

Our site uses encryption (HTTPS), and we use reputable providers who protect the information they hold for us. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Our site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Other Websites

Our site may link to websites we do not control. Their privacy practices are their own, so please read their policies.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. If a change is significant, we will make it clear on the site or by email.
