Free 2027 Habit Tracker Printable

By Matt StefanikPublished 4 min read

There’s something about a paper habit tracker. You print it, stick it on the fridge or tape it inside a notebook, and every day you get to put a big satisfying X in a box (or circle the day). It’s simple, it’s visible, and it works.

So we made one for 2027, and it’s yours FREE.

Enter your email and we’ll send the PDF straight to your inbox, along with a few of our best tips for making your habits stick this year.

What’s Inside

The PDF is 13 pages, sized for regular US Letter paper and printed sideways (landscape):

  1. A Year at a Glance page. One habit, all 365 days on a single sheet. This is the one to hang where you’ll see it every morning.
  2. One page for every month, January through December 2027. Room for 10 habits, with every day of the month labeled and weekends shaded so you can see your week at a glance.

Print the whole year, or just the month you’re on.

How to Use It

  1. Pick your habits before you print. Three to five is plenty to start. Ten is the room on the page, not a goal.
  2. Write each habit as something you do. “Walk 20 minutes” works better than “stop being lazy.” A tracker needs a clear yes or no for every box.
  3. Put it where you can’t miss it. The fridge, the bathroom mirror, next to the coffee maker. Out of sight really is out of mind.
  4. Check the box the moment you do it. Not at the end of the day, not tomorrow. Right then.
  5. Never miss twice. Everyone misses a day. The rule that saves streaks is simple: one blank box is fine, two in a row is not.
  6. Review at the end of each month. Which habits filled up their row? Which ones kept getting skipped? Keep what’s working, shrink what isn’t, and start the next page.

Habit Ideas to Fill Your Tracker

Stuck on what to track? Here are some that fit nicely in a daily box:

  1. Drink a full glass of water before each meal
  2. Read 10 pages
  3. Walk or work out
  4. No phone for the first hour of the day
  5. Write down three things you’re grateful for
  6. Stretch for five minutes
  7. Lights out by a set time
  8. Eat a vegetable with lunch
  9. Make the bed
  10. Do one thing that brings you joy
  11. Meditate for 5 minutes 3x/week

Why Paper Trackers Work (and Where They Fall Short)

A paper tracker works for one big reason: you can see it. Every filled box is proof that you’re becoming the person you said you’d be, and seeing that proof stack up is motivating in a way that willpower never is.

But paper has limits, and most of us hit them by February:

  1. It stays home. If you’re traveling or at work, the tracker isn’t with you.
  2. It doesn’t remind you. A sheet of paper can’t tap you on the shoulder at 8 p.m.
  3. It doesn’t do the math. Your longest streak, your best month and your weak days all have to be counted by hand.
  4. Nobody else can see it. If you want someone to keep you accountable, they have to come look at your fridge.

Want the Wall Version and the Pocket Version?

That’s exactly why we put together the 2027 GOALD Kit. It keeps everything that makes paper work and fixes everything that doesn’t.

  1. The 2027 Wall Calendar. Twelve full-page photos of the kind of life you’re building, printed on heavy gloss paper, with a “This Month’s Focus” line on every page for the one habit you’re building that month. It hangs where you’ll see it every morning, just like the printable.
  2. A full year of GOALD Builder. The habit app that goes where the fridge can’t: reminders at the time you choose, streaks and badges that keep score for you, and an accountability partner who can see your progress.
  3. The Game of Achieving Life Daily, the habits course, in short 3 to 5 minute videos, plus a fillable Habit Plan Workbook.

Free US shipping, and order by December 12 for delivery before January 1. That also makes it a great Christmas gift for anyone who’s said “this is my year” before.

Want to do it with someone? Go Together gets you two of everything for the price of one: one for you, one for your spouse, best friend or workout buddy, so you hold each other to it.

The Bottom Line

The best habit tracker is the one you’ll actually look at every day. Download the 2027 printable, pick a few habits, and hang it where you’ll see it tomorrow morning. Then go put an X in the first box.
